Tobias Bräutigam
Leading European expert on data protection
As a leading European expert on data protection, Tobias’s practice offers detailed privacy advice on a range of matters including the development of new products and services, the review and negotiation of contracts, and the drafting of policies and review of campaigns. He also advises his clients on Finnish and international GDPR projects, including the implementation of global data management strategies, international data transfers and local data protection compliance.
Tobias has served on the European Advisory Board of the International Association of Privacy Professionals and co-chair the Cambridge Privacy Forum, a conference for senior privacy professionals. As a Docent of Information Law at two universities, he also contributes to privacy publications on data protection issues. Tobias is the first and still one of the few Finnish legal practitioners to have been accepted as a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
